How I got here
I trained at college as a sewing machine mechanic and went on to earn a polytechnic degree in engineering. I spent five years servicing machines in a garment factory, then opened my own workshop — where I’ve repaired machines and done on-site house calls for 15+ years. I’m also a Brother-certified service technician.
What I do now
Every guide on this site comes from a repair I’ve actually done — not a manual, not generic advice. If I recommend a needle, a thread, or a machine, it’s because I’ve used it myself.
